It comes with a Super Power AC generator. Most low cost flashlights comes with a noisy cranking gear because it is a DC generator. However, an AC generator produces more current to charge the built-in battery pack and power the 9 LED very well.
You can choose "save" mode, which turns on only one LED, "normal" mode which uses 9 LEDs, and "siren" mode, which turns on the flashing red LED light for emergency calls!
It is good for hiking since it is light and small enough to fit in the palm of your hand or fit in your pocket. It also comes with a built-in compass!
It comes with the ability to output power to charge cellphones (cellphone adapters not included).
